I agree and appreciate your comments. And I have been in my teens with super bikes myself and souped up muscle cars...but road racing with precision and skill against competitors is far from being juvenile. It is a sport of usually wealthy gentleman that takes immense talent, skill, intelligence and lots of practice (like any sport). I agree, going out on a public road to just "nail" the thing is more akin to a teenager. But driving a car at the absolute limit at a rack track with the skill and precision required of a pro-athelete is not. Once you have done THIS, road drivng loses it's fun. Mario Andretti was often asked if he drives fast on the street and he said he does the speed limit because he could care less.
If that is the case then everyone in F1, ALMS, Porsche Cup and so have no taste, class and are a bunch of juvenilles.
