The sedan will be introduced this autumn? Interesting, seems your sources are pretty accurate...like the production figures you mentioned.
A zillion 911? I doubt it. And you forget one thing: there are a lot of different 911 variants like the 997 Carrera, Carrera S, the Cabs, the GT3, the Turbo, etc. Of course the may build 30000 911 per year, maybe. But this includes ALL variants. Take a guess how many F430 Ferrari will produce next year? I think buying a Viper would be more exclusive.
If you want exclusivity, power and fun, buy a Lamborghini Murcielago.
Fiat just "ate" Maserati. Dumb move. I just hope for you guys that the dollar gets stronger again, otherwise the F430 will be a VERY exclusive product in the US (if you get my point...
) and Ferrari will be in financial trouble sooner or later because they URGENTLY need a good US market.
BTW: today I joined a little group on a safety training track for some fast rounds. We had minus(!) 3* Celsius outside temperature, the asphalt temperature was minus 7*C.
I did a 120* curve at around 180 kph on my winter tires without even the slightest glimpse of instability or traction problems. If I would own a Ferrari, I would probably end up looking at it in my garage. I'm not THAT old, Nick. Not yet.
