It wasn't a "timed" event because it was really a driving school put on by BMWCCA.
That being said, there were a couple older Porsche's that were just blazing by everyone in the instructors group. There was a widebody 930 turbo that was a monster (dedicated track car). A well driven 997 GT3 with slicks was really moving as well. There were plenty of E36 M3s that were dedicated track cars that were moving along at a good clip as well. I had the chance to ride with my instructor in his run group and it was a blast! Diving in late for passes and going three wide was so much fun.
In my run group (beginner) I was blowing by most everything including a 997S. In my run group, 98% is the driver.
