    I was once pulled over in Oklahoma for "illegal use of fowl weather lights." I had my fog lights on my 911SC which can only be on when the low beam headlights are on. Their trafffic code permitted the use of fog lights with headlights at all times and fog lights alone when weather conditions dictated. As in your case, the lighting wiring was by the factory; in those days you couldn't run fog lights alone without the low beams being on.

    I loved the officer's ignorance of their own laws,--and his inability to differentiate between a chicken (fowl) and less than optimal weather conditions (foul). But I got off with merely a warning!

    To be fair, its difficult for folks to tell, given these new front ends have the LED DRLs down where one normally finds fog lights, rather than coming from the headlight space. And the absence of distinct fog lights confuses things further. I can see how those bright LEDs would lead one to think you were driving around in good weather with fog lights on.

    Blinded by foglights in the daylight??? I just don't get it. After 30 seconds, the time it should have taken even a blind cop to realize the steering wheel was on the right, the driver should have been back on the road.
    That said, I love to get pulled over for pushing the envelope but not really breaking the law. Nothing better than a warning without possibily for a ticket, gives you a chance to chat with them and remind them to ticket a_holes that do not signal.

    Are you enjoying your new 997.2 Carrera PDK ? Is the shifting satisfying ? Is the new Direct Injection engine super responsive ? I hope so .......

    Hideous things - turn them off in the daytime.
