Wow... only 4 seconds off the GT2 and 3 off the GT3RS from their Supertest results.
Not quite: the GT2 did the NBR 17s quicker and HHR more than 3.5s quicker

Does the resurfacing have something to do with this incredible time (and other times reported recently)?

HvS reduced the 997.2 time by 15secs compared to 997.1. However, 997.1 was with normal tyres. I don't know by how much the corsa/cup tyres reduce the NBR lap time.

The Ring time is impressive. However, we must take into account that the acceleration time is so good thanks to the PDK shift speed.

Not quite... The 997s tested by AutoZeitung (latest issue) was equipped with manual gear-box. The car did 0-200 in 14.5s - thus, was even quicker than the Sportauto test car

What were the rest of the numbers?

7.50 is a good time for the facelift and a reasonable improvement. Now 997 C2S drivers can at last keep up with a 2003 CSL at the Ring.

Good joke This one-time CSL lap-time wonder is one of the biggest mysteries in the SportAuto history... IMHO, the CSL is a nice car. However, this car is far from being capable of a 7.50

The NBR lap time makes perfect sense. It would be nice to know if the manual version is faster. But one is left to wonder: why is the 997TT so SLOW... IMHO should have been around 7.40.
