Maybe because neither Porsche nor insurance companies are dumb?!
It doesn't matter if it is a public street or not, racing events, even under a "controlled" environment, are not covered by insurance. And what isn't covered by insurance, isn't covered by the warranty. Somehow a "general rule".
Only exception are official Porsche Driving school events or other driving safety events which are certified. The insurance usually pays for crashes during such events but it may be wise to check with them before.
I can only speak about german insurance companies and Porsche Germany but I suppose it isn't much different in other countries, especially in Europe.
