Yes, the claim on warranty is racing not driving around track (there are many contradictions for this specially with UK track days). It would be such a nonesense not to cover warranty around the ring (without racing) when they develop the car there and use it to sell cars.

"Buy a Porsche but there is only warranty at -120km/h speeds" (in Spain case) sure you could get a good media story if Porsche refueses to pay a broken electric window because you tracked the car without racing

Insurance is a completely different matter and I do not see the link between insurance and warranty
