    I think it is all down to the launch. If you don't drop the clutch like PDK "launch control" I don't think you will achieve the official time with the GT4. It is like accelerating a PDK car without launch control, there is quite a difference too, but most people stare themselves blind on the launch control figure which is rarely used in real life.

    From personal experience, my GT4 feels a tad faster to 100km/h than my C4S, but this could also be down to the car providing more feedback and a greater sensory experience.

    Spa is amazing isn't it!? How did you experience Le Raidillon for the first time? You managed to to some timed laps?

    Spa is amazing isn't it!? How did you experience Le Raidillon for the first time? You managed to to some timed laps?

    I like Spa (did it 10 days earlier also), but the Nordschleife is way more exciting (but crazy).  Yes, Radillion and Eau Rouge are pretty insane - we did a track walk and you really get more appreciation for it when on foot (just drove it unprepared my first time last week).

    Some pretty wild cars, including an F40 Le Mans Spyder. Have a photo, but won't upload for some reason...

    True, nothing compares to the Nordschleife, the region and the track. I think both tracks are an ideal combination as by nature of the track Spa allows you to safely push the car's limits a bit more than you would on the Nordschleife.

    Good review. They drove that grey GT3 that was in front of it and the GT4 at Philip Island that day. Wished they would do a direct comparison test between the two cars. Would be interesting.

    Interestingly, I have a buddy who had an original NSX (early year with nice manual steering) as well as an F355 (with manual gearbox) and I got him an allocation for a GT4 also but he declined it at the last minute.  He almost owned all 3...

    I have driven all 3 quite a bit.  Unassisted NSX steering (replaced with EPS in 92, I think) is my favorite for feel (though too slow-geared and quite heavy), F355 sounds by far the best (and looks great), and GT4 is most comfortable and competent (best all-around).

    i was offered a gt4 today, delivery may 2016, speccable of course, by a porsche center in germany, at list price. not taking it though. if someone is interested let me know, i need to call the dealer by tomorrow morning (not sure though if i can squeeze in someone else, maybe they need to proceed by list of reservations but i could try).
