My M3 Coupe Order

Well, after selling my TTS, I decide on buying E92 M3 Coupe with the following options below. It will be my 4th M3. I have been waiting for some kind of E92 M3 CSL derivative but it never showed up. So I'll go with the regular one:

E92 M3 COUPE

300 - Alpin Weiss - Exterior Color

NCSW - Black Novillo Leather

2MD - M Drive

2MK - M DKG

4MY - Carbon leather texture trim

494 - Heated Seats

507 - Rear PDC

563 - Light Pack.

609 - Navigation Professional

676 - Hi-Fi Sound System (8 speakers / 180W)

6FL - USB Audio

761 - Privacy Glass

7MA - Competition Pack. (19" CSL style wheels, EDC, -10mm chassie)

TOTAL List Price without V.A.T. is 71.310 Euro.

I haven't confirmed the order yet, since I haven't been qouted the discount. Waiting for the offer. But spec of my car will be this.

I hope, I'll finalized the order in a few days.

Do not forget 7ME M Driver Package(280km/h limiter). It is an essential option IMHO. Specially for resale. Your dealer will unlock 280km/h limiter after first 2000km or so.

Great combo, congratulations !

Regarding the M Driver's Package: things are a little bit weird here and I would lie if I'd tell you that I know with 100% certainty.

The M Driver's Package comes with a M driving event included, some sort of M driving school. Sometimes it is possible to get this package for a lower price tag without the driving school, sometimes not, it depends on M GmbH and sometimes the dealer(s).

In the past, M GmbH required customers to take the driving school if they wanted to order the M Driver's Package. According to my information, this has changed. You can get the M Driver's Package even without participating in the M driver school event, it apparently isn't a must. Some dealers may not be aware of this.

My dealer told me that he had to provide information to M GmbH about me and my driving skills when I ordered the M Driver's Package. I'm not sure if this is true because it sounds a little bit fishy but who knows what rules they have for their stuff Smiley ?!

Isn't it too much money just for eliminating the speed limiter? Smiley

I rather put an aftermarket software for this kind of money. It would give some additional ponnies, too.

It is really very silly to pay extra money to unlock speed limiter on an ///M car, IMO. It is there; but somehow, for some reason, it is locked and you pay extra to unlock it. It is like paying extra for LSD in a 911 Carrera S. Or evenif you have a PDK, youhave to pay extra for faster shifting program and launch control. This kind of behaviour drives me crazy.

I can understand to pay thousands if I want my car in pink color of my favorite tie; or if I want to have leather where I will never see. BUT for a sports car, to pay extra for performance related options is ridiculous

Nice combo. I would personally go for a dark brown interior like RC has on it's X5M. But white on a M3 is perfect!

You can only get fox red or bamboo beige with M3. No sattel or kastel brown tone color for interior unless you go individual. Smiley

I now start searching for BMW Performance seats.
