As soon as LDM took over, they changed leather supplier from British world renouned manufacturer Connelly to a cheaper Italian one.
Ferrari has never been famous for the quality of its interiors.
People have to remember that it is a small factory where everything is done by hand, so as a result, interior quality is not on par with other luxury brands.
Engine wise however, it's another story.

as far as i'm informed their actual supplier is http://www.poltronafrau.it/ which is well known for its quality as well.
btw, isn't connolly bancrupt or something?

Yes the reason for the change on Ferrari's part was related to Connolly going out of business. To appreciate the care taken in making the leather seats as well interior, one needs to visit the factory. Everything is hand made which will lead to variations in appearance.
BTW it is my understanding that an Italian company now furnishes the leather to Ferrari. If there is one thing Italians know, it is leather.

The current supplier of Ferrari is Poltrona Frau, one of the famous leather manufacturers.
Connolly unfortunately went bancrupt, whis is also a problem for RR, Bentley and AM.
Personally I think the leather interior of the 360 is fine, although I thought the quality of the 355 to be even better.

Totally wrong.
In all Ferrari you have leather everywhere, not only on the seats.
The "extended leather" means door sills and rear panel covered with leather.

It says in the ad "Upgraded leather". Don't know if that would be for the rear shelf, door sills.
As for the seats I don't know why anyone would go for those big cushy seats in a Ferrari when you can have much sportier looking leather and carbon fiber racing seats.
The racing buckets are soooooo comfortable too.
