That's strange that you haven't seen any 997's until now. What area of LA do you reside in, vtrader?

I guess I wouldn't expect to see too many on that stretch of LA freeway. Do you use your 997 as your daily commuter car?

When I'm in the US I always get the feeling american drivers do not take driving seriously enough... eating, drinking, talking on the cellular, left lane hogging, driving slouched back like in a sofa, clueless of whats going on around them, etc.

Driving is a privilege you earn and a responsability, not a birth given right. I feel for you "real drivers" there, specially the sportcar fans.

After many threads and many complaints of not seeing one, not one 997 or 997S in the Porsche capital of the world (Southern California ), today on a quick trip into Pasadena (home of the Rose Parade, Cal Tech, Jet Propulsion Lab) I saw not one, not two, but three 997s on the road including a beautiful Slate? or Atlas? Grey (one shade daker than my Seal Grey) 997 driven by an old lady!
