naaah, it's only my first 911...
In Switzerland, you can either let the authority assign you any number or you can choose one from the available ones. Some cantons (states) even publish them on the internet. But every canton has its own rules. In some of them, numbers like '911', '360', etc are -were!- available. In some others, low-digit numbers are reserved for taxis, trailers, buses whatever. I chose this one (100 911) because the canton where my car is registered doesn't sell low-digit numbers (yet) and 6-digits numbers have a space in the middle, which makes the 911 stand out pretty well...
The prices vary a lot!... Mine cost CHF 600 (USD 400), but some low-digit ones like '911' or '1' in other cantons were sold at auctions for something like CHF 20k (USD 13k)!...
