    GT3 RS (street)

    Hi guys

    Today one friend of P.I. tell me the confirm of the production of the GT3 RS...
    The model is like the new GT3,but has door and other parts in light material,PCCB as standard,engine with 600 rpm more than standard...and for Italy only 7 car!
    The race is open!

    Christian, can you find out something more about this.This could be a model worth considering versus the Stradale...

    I didn't hear anything about a GT3 RS street version. There is a rumor regarding a race version (not street legal!) but I guess this is just a logical conclusion to the introduction of the GT3 street version.

    Regarding dealer allocations for certain countries: they can't allocate a car which doesn't officially exist yet. So I have to seriously doubt the 7 cars statement and even the rumor that a GT3 RS street version will be build. But again...I'm not working of Porsche and everything is possible.

    Guys don't hit me!!

    This is a rumor that i hear three months ago from a person,yesterday afternoon another person that doesn't know the first....said me the same thing....and the rumor start from the same important person from P.Italy.....

    I think is true....but sure is nothing official......

    When i have more info i'll post! sure!

    there are quite some GT3 RS race versions already out there, taking part in the FIA GT championship.

    i have my doubts too that there will be a street version on sale... some people who already ordered the "ordinary" GT3 would not be pleased i suppose. and i haven't heard of any new FIA homologation classifications where it would be necessary to actually sale street versions of the race cars.

    btw: i hope IF there will be a lightweight carrera sometime, they are going to call it "carrera RS".

    but nice rumour anyway
