Re: ROAD TEST: New 992 Carrera4S
W8MM:Wonderbar:RC, I understand that the 992 may not have “the edge“ that other powerful sports cars have. I have known and experienced those types of cars. For me, now approaching my 78th birthday, I’m appreciating some comfort and luxury, along with power, precision and performance. At least for now, until I get the bug to buy something else, the 992 provides me with just enough ease and luxury, with enough performance buried beneath it all, to satisfy me. Porsche’s idea of a daily driver, turning into a beast, is the recipe I enjoy right now.
I confess to the same feelings now days. I'm not that far behind in age. I've decided that being old doesn't need to be boring, but I'm not 25 anymore.
I am a bit far behind you two, but I have discovered that a while ago, hence why I love the turbo Ss more than any other 911 variants. Who wants climb into the uncomfortable bucket when a 18-way sofa is that much more comfortable!!
