I read an article about it in french mag called Flat6, very limited production indeed, mainly for the US.

but 408hp in a convertible 993, that's a bit much don't you think? Actually, it could be ok, I do not know how rigig the 993 cab structure is.

Working on it, please be patient. The 993 Turbo Cab was a very limited production car, as far as I know production numbers didn't exceed 25 pieces. But I'm not sure if I remember it very well, I'll post some info as soon as I got it more precisely. Won't take long, I promise. 
If you can put your hands on a 993 Turbo Cab, do it. It is worth the money and it is a very rare object.

...the description seems to be a little bit strange. 360 HP engine??? Something isn't "smelling" good, especially when I look at the price tag. Or maybe just a typo.

I knew that I could find some info here. I think indeed that this Porsche is an investment. Only 12 turbo cabriolets !!!!
I think that this will be more worth than a 100.000 euro Cayenne Turbo. I will also look in my old flat6 magazines to find the articles.
A couple of years ago I saw almost every day one here in Belgium, with swiss license plates. What a shame that I don't have any pictures.

I have now all details-993 Turbo Cab
Although the 993 Turbo Cab uses the new 993 body, it gets "only" the 3.6 l engine with 360 HP from the "old" 964 Turbo.
Only 14 cars were built, price tag in 1995 was 89500 DEM plus the price tag of the regular 993 Cab.
