    Turbo Woops!

    Does anyone have any info on this car:







    From filenames it appears to have been 22 September 2002. I'd guess USA as well. Anyone know more?

    It takes a lot of stupidity (sorry but this is true!) to roll over a 996 Turbo. This car doesn't seem to be stock, it has different wheels (probably also non-approved tires), a different exhaust system and probably also a power upgrade (just a guess). I saw a few 996 Turbo accidents, both on the street and the track but I never saw a rollover. Oh boy.

    Yes, agreed. Oh, boy ...

    I look but don't see any signs of contact with Armco or another car. Yes, there is damage to the left side but you can see where it has slid on the road.

    What catches my eye is the LR wheel rim which looks to be damaged. Could it be that these are 19" rims? Could it be that it has somehow caught a rim on something?? That would flip the car faster than you can say .....

    I'd love to know more about what happened to this car.

    I guess there is a roll bar in there somewhere though I cannot see it.

    looks like the accident happened in the race track??? The road look too wide for street. Also grasses before the guard well... It doesn't look like any track in the US to me?

    My guess is that the guy spun out or understeer into the guard well and flipped... that explain why the front bumper is missing.
