First major problem with my 997 S
I love this car but it looks like I'll be getting a new clutch and or flywheel. It's a black "launch" car, 1 month old, 1,000 miles and it recently developed a severe chatter while letting out the clutch at low speeds. The tech said there is not an adjustment and it is an all new clutch and flywheel system. They've emailed Porsche for advice. Just my luck, my last 996 turbo needed a new engine about this same time (very early production model).
Even with a few early production bugs, this is an incredible car and I'll put up with a little inconvenience. I have never owned a car so well balanced and fun to drive. I'm confident any design or engineering glitches will be worked out. (or at least hopefull...)
