Your Senna must have been so happy to be able to stretch it's legs there.

Just in case someone in Germany is interested, offer from McLaren Munich for a new 570S with Track Pack.
919 EUR per month, incl. 19% VAT, 20k EUR initial payment, 36 months.
Or 1475 EUR per month without initial payment.
I think this is a pretty good offer for this car.

the-missile:wow that is cheap
Yep...believe it or not but I was sooooooooo close to get it as an additional car to my Performante.
My wife said I'm nuts, so I guess I won't.

schmoell:Next Senna catches fire. Seems to be the one from gercollector
Yep, I had contact with him, isn't that bad (car is fixable, the track guys put the fire out fast, very good job) but McLaren started an investigation. He isn't too happy though, as you can imagine.
He could be at a Lambo event in July, so maybe I can find out more but I'm not sure he wants to talk about it right now.
As a little side note (maybe or maybe not related ): Drove yesterday my Performante for two hours during a private event at around 36°C. Then, drove back home on the Autobahn at around 37.5°C at speeds way over 300 kph, tire temperature was 73°C at max. No issues. Water temperature, oil temperature all normal, nothing to write home about. Zero issues, car already has 6000 km. Audi quality. Why I mention this? Saw at least five or six cars on the side with coolant issues, poor people at those temperatures.

DJM48:37.5. Ha!
😂👍
We had over 38 deg C a short while ago...
Don't forget that I live in Bavaria, not Australia. 😉
We have tons of snow in winter time...

While it’s great that nobody was injured, I think maybe the better outcome for the owner was for the car to completely burn rather than to be repaired.

Not really because I doubt McLaren would build him a new one... Look at what happened to Alejandro.
According to what I heard right after the fire, the car is in a better shape than it appears on the pictures seen.

He didn't get a new car, but I believe he had all of his purchase price returned (less deductible), although over MSRP.
What is the value of a car with a carbon tub that was involved in a fire and repaired? What kind of huge discount would you demand, rather than buying an example with no issues?

In the case of Gercollector (the owner...or better said...the owners...two brothers), I think that money isn't really the issue here, they want the car (as far as I understood).

But if money is not the issue, why not just buy another used (or nearly new) Senna in better condition? Maybe they have a special connection to a particular special-ordered car?

This would mean to pay a premium...why should he? He is a very good McLaren customer, I am pretty sure they are going to repair his car in a way it will be basically brand-new. Just speculation though, I'll ask once I get the chance to.

So my McLaren dealer finally got one of these in as a demo/display car.
I am highly impressed by the cargo room. There is 2 almost carry on size bags in front of the full sized golf bag.
The styling while better, is still not quite there yet.
but this 12C platform is seriously flexible, much more so than the Porsche 911 platform.

For some reason it looks like they didn’t finish the design. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it seems so plain.
Looking forward to the redesign of the 570S

I think it's the proportion.
The GT is longer so it looks like a McLaren got stretched a bit. Also the greenhouse seems small as compared to the body below.
