intouch1:great detail work
One may not like these cars but you can not deny that Bentley gives more effort to design and make the most beautiful and luxurious interiors, everything you see and touch is a sensory pleasure.
Makes being stuck in a heavy traffic much easier then for example sitting in some soulless appliance, cold, with cheap commercial plastic grade interior (like the unnamed electric transportation module made in California)

Bentley dealers in US are starved for new product, there are no deliveries of any new cars with the W12, no new Bentaygas and especially the new Contis that a lot of folks put deposits on, expecting arrivals before Christmas.
Now we are in second half of February and no one knows when actually the cars will be finally delivered.
There is a problem with emissions and all W12s are on hold until they resolve this issue with EPA/DOT.
Now, it looks like we will see the V8 version first, before any W12s finally arrive.
A shame, it is a truly beautiful car, an ultimate daily driver, especially for those of us dealing with snow and ice on the roads.
SciFrog:Is V8 even worth a look vs v12?
Of course it is. It sounds better than the W12, lighter on the nose, cheaper to run, ...
1969 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 / 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (sold) / 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Performance / 2014 BMW-Alpina D3 biturbo Touring / 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport
Reviewers chose the V8S over the OLD W12... not so sure that will be the case with the new car; the new W12 is a different animal. Yes, still heavier but much more responsive and in a completely new platform. Haven't seen any reviews of the new car with a V8 yet... Looking forward to that.

What is this country coming to....? Finally home, I go to the dealer to get my car, but guess what?! I can’t, because they haven’t received my license plates yet..... WTF !!! And even worse, they can’t say when they will get them. In one week I’m off again and will be gone for almost whole of March (racing in ME and skiing), so right now I’m really pissed.
At least I got to sit in my car and it felt good. But that’s all I can give you as a review so far But here some more pictures and hopefully I finally get to drive it sometime next week

Not paid anything yet, but very annoying. € 275.900 list price. Put a “X” on all available options, except for the radio.. Went for BO instead of Naim. Better locking imo.On the positive side, the car looks very good in real life and even better than I expected when I spec’ed it. Did a change of color when I visited the factory in Crewe and the Cumbrian green is a perfect match for what I wanted to achieve with the car
And will also look good beside my Brewster green GT2 RS

Love the green especially on a Bentley. Is that you and your better half in the first picture? You both have your arms folded against your chest. When I pick juries, those jurors that have their arms folding as I ask them questions are non verbal cues indicating resistance. In your case, I assume its judgmental i.e. (I like It; I like it)
Stress is man made.

Finally got my car handed over today Just had time for some short stints, mostly in the city center. But what a nice car! Quality in every detail and it feels like driving around in a pajamas. Sooooo super smooth. And the 900 Nm torque comes to use when accelerating and makes the car feel like a time machine, totally effortless acceleration
Same gearbox as the Panamera, but I think the torque makes it harder for it. It kind of throw in second gear sometimes when accelerating from stand still. According to the mechanics, this should disappear after 200-300 km, so let’s see...
And not much of advice regarding run in procedures. The instruction says, “don’t give more than half throttle and no kick downs the first 2500km and you could start increase speed after 1000km”.
Tell you more when I’ve driven it for a period, but next week cup car in Bahrain, so it’ll have to wait . Here’s some more pictures
