    Tackyart: Too elaborate and embellished for my taste (IM_H_O).

    This ornamental wing makes me queasy.

    Get some Porsche badges on those wheel caps; nobody can be THAT in love with the Techart to dump the P-car caps!

    BTW, If you _do_ get the wheels, do the P-car wheel caps fit? Or did Techart make that impossible?

    A textboook example of how to make a 3300 lb car look like a 4300 lb car .

    TechArt looks like they have used the same exteriors parts molds for TWENTY years .

    These seem very similar to the gen 1 products.

    Rear valence seems like a Merc AMG.

    The side skirts concept is alright, but they are a bit too heavy, if you put them on, you have to balance the car proportions with a rear wing, and that's the main problem,
    I don't like the rear wing mounted on standard 997.
    The wheels are tacky I agree.
    TechArt has good quality of their products.

    On the other hand:

    If a friend got Techart-ed I'd find something to genuinely like about it. You want to be happy for your friend's happiness.

    It's easy to criticize because it's so flashy and dramatic.

    It's not for me..., but not an abomination either.

    Hey, it could be your kid or nephew's choice. What are you going to do? Tell him his pride-and-joy looks like sh*t?
