Knowing the current C class the E class is a surpise because it looks the same (size). The E class isn't a surprise... it's more like a deja vu and therefore a huge disappointment. I'm sure when you say the volume sellers being the most conservative you meant the C not the E Right? Because in 2008 the E runs with the A6 and BMW 5er not the 3er.
The E could have been so much more.. german cars have always had the edge in design, and asians copied it usually always.. but lately it seems to go the other way
