I'd only be half joking if I were to state there is a GT3 RS Cabriolet or GT2 Cab in the pipeline . Marketing is probably already pushing that , what with the Scuderia SPIDER coming .

your dealer is drinking way to much new zealand sauvignon blanc. that is total bulls$#t. there will be a 997 gt3 mk2. there might be a 997 mk2 rs. the rs is the special eddition 911 along with the gt2. i swear to god, some of the things i have heard dealers say......

Thanks, no offense taken, there is far too much on that on these boards.
No the thing I heard is that it will look almost the same at the 72 RS with ducktail and very different body work. It will not simply be the new RS with paint. I am told will be only 1-2 in NZ. Given we got the only one PD1 in NZ of a WW run of 777, I would imagine less than 1000 prduced.

In my experience of dealing with OPCs they tend to know as much as my grandmother when it comes to new car release...
I can't see a RS sitting above GT2 on the price ladder... The car is just not that special anymore (i mean exclusive). ... Don't get me wrong i have an LOI in for a 997.2 RS but if it goes beyond Pounds100k base i will not bother...
Lastly :- RS / GT3 Cabrio..... Can't be mentioned in the same sentence or it will be the final nail in the coffin !!!
