    Cayenne Off-Road Videos

    The attached video is the condensed version of this Rover climbing the hill. Several attempts were made before he was able to reach the top. Unfortunately we did not catch him actually cresting the hill but persistence did pay off with success.

    This video starts with the green Discovery stuck about halfway up the hill. One of the other Rover owners believes some extra weight on the front will help, so he climbs on the front brush guard and also guides the Discovery on up.

    Neither of the Rovers in the videos broke anything. The white Rover is making some creaking noises but that's just the brakes. He's trying to hold his position on the hill and not roll back. He had a front universal joint about to go out but you can't hear that in the video, I don't think. He removed the front driveshaft for the drive home.

    Breaking and replacing driveline and suspension components is fairly commonplace for off-roading enthusiasts like these Rovers or especially the Jeep crowd. They will typically arrive at an off-road event with a good supply of spare parts.
