    I don't know if it will be a design flaw, but to have the exhaust tips sitting so flush and close to the bumper could be irritating with a diesel. The surrounds are going to be covered with black soet (sp?)!

    Have they released official hp/nm figures?

    BTW, when I was in NSU to check out R8 V10 in person I also got a chance to sit in Q7 V12 TDI. You need to experience that V12 TDI in person... Exhaust tips? Nothing is coming out, even at full throttle...

    Wow, DPF are new technology to me. Never heard of it! I assumed it would be like our V10 Touareg that just bellows out black smoke when the throttle is mashed into the floor

    With a ECU remap this car could be a MONSTER!

    Mike, my DPF-equipped diesel is pearl white, has horizontal exhaust tips and hasn't a smidgen of soot on its rear bumper. You're right, the car is going to be a monster .

    I believe the particle filters will be mandatory in the EU in a few years time, not a second too soon!
