PCM 3 and Navigation questions
I am considering ordering the new navigation module for a 2009 911 I plan to order soon. As the cars have yet to be let loose here in the states, I am having a hard time getting any facts on the new system. The order guide says that the system has a 40gb HD. Most maps I have seen take somewhere around 2-3 gig, so is it safe to assume you can use the remaining space to store music? There is no mention of what all the space is for in the brochure either. In fact it does not even make mention of the 40gb drive at all.
Secondly, does anyone know who's map data the system uses? Navteq being considerably better here in the states than Tele Atlas I am curious to know which is loaded, or if perhaps it is some other 3rd parties data.
