    Carrera 2S with PDK 7:50

    I read this somewhere on the internet, 7:50 per lap just 1 second slower than the current TT!

    Sport tires = 7 sec advantage (according to Sportauto), partially resurfaced track = 5 sec advantage (educated guess)

    The Sport Auto time for 997 Turbo was 7:52 from 05/07 (according to the Fact page in the magazine) also "mit Sportreifen".

    So the only difference could be the surface or the improved 997.2 with PDK.

    hhhm - obviously the printed version is not consistent with their website, which says 7:54 and does not mention the use of sport tires (usually indicated by two asterisks **). But I recall that HvS did a second run (after the Supertest) which was a couple of secs faster..

    Yes the data in the current magazine is 7:52 and makes note of the sportreifen(**) and it notes that it has been updated("aktualisiert")

    They retested it.

    It was mentionned here the manual 997.2 is 1s faster than PDK, not sure if the AWD version with PTM can reach the 7.50, but if it does, that bodes well for the FL TT with the "fixed" PTM and PDK...

    I expect the new TT with the above enhancements plus 30-35HP to go down to 7:45.

    HvS did the Ring for a second time with a 997 Turbo. He's time was 7.52 min, 2 seconds faster than previously. You can read about it in the TechArt GTstreet Supertest.
