I agree. I think the glass roof is absolutely stunning...almost moreso from the passenger side as you have the opportunity to look around. I'm sure it's a dumb question but I'm surprised there's no Targa TT! Though I like the TT cab I think a Targa TT would be an awesome daily machine. Though with the premium on the NA Targas I can only imagine that PAG would price a TT somewhere at or just above a TT cab...

Even thought the 911 has gained weight, many owners prefer to keep it as trim as possible. That is why the Targa is not popular - a lot of weight at the worst possible location. Its suspension is also compromised due to that. The Targa is a nice car but I do not drive sports cars because they are pretty.
This should not diminish the Targa owners' enjoyment if that compromise is of their liking.

You have a point ADias, but "prettiness" aside there's a lot of form in the 911's function and the harmony of the two is one of its enduring qualities. I'm obviously biased . But in the scale of the TT's performance, how much difference are we really talking about 
Sure the suspension takes a hit, but is it less rigid than a cab? Either way, a TT seems better suited to the straighline acceleration than the turning/winding roads (though surely an adrenaline rush in and of itself) so what would the extra 150lbs cost...a tenth of a sec 0-100? Doubt the serious trackers would even waste a comment on it but I'm curious to know if the average TT owner would be appalled or accepting of a Targa TT...

The issue is not acceleration. It is handling. This is a well debated matter and we should not waste our time. Your car is beautiful, you like it, and that is all that matters.
P.S. - Re photography - since you want to do good photo work, I suggest that you get a copy o Adobe Lightroom V.2 to edit your photos.
