My apologies if this is a repost... I did do a search and nothing came up.

I saw this and was amazed at Rohrl's driving of the TT... inspiring!

he did that little road for over 4000kms with people in it!!

he changes the tires every 700kms and he just changed the brake pads... but other than that it runs like new!!

Impressive because what if any animal jumps out of the sketchy bushes

Won't happen. The presenter mentioned at the beginning of the video that the police had closed off the road to others.

yeah i think that was out in advance of the june 06 launch and only made the waiting go slower....the potential jumping animals thing continues to freak me big time, particularily at night... its difficult to appreciate the oh s_ _t factor until youve encountered a horse sized elk standing in a median, or encountered a trophy buck jumping out of a bar ditch.

I encountered a deer at 5:50 AM on the highway - at 150 mph

! Incredible how difficult it is to evade an animal, as it keep going back and forth as if it were playing Frogger.

Guys - WR is rightly extolling the virtues of the 997tt from a couple of years ago, not trying to be a troll here but this vid and commentary is all about speed and handling , am I the only one thinking "how much faster would WR be down that lane in a GT-R" ?
