    I'll bet that Eric still bitterly complains about the steering wheel.

    Nice to see that Porsche has finally made updates to the PCM unit. Also looks like it's not volcano grey anymore but then again that's probably because it's covered by leather.

    Strange to see that the headlights are exactly the same. I thought they were adding a second projector unit for the highbeams.

    I love the duck tape on the steeing wheel.
    Like hiding that will fool anybody into thinking "what car is this"

    Now using a test mule like Ferrari uses... thats another story

    Yes, it is. They are facelifting the coupe, cab and targa 911s.

    It'll still be Targa 4 and Targa 4S. There's no 2WD 997 Targa. It's AWD only.

    looking at that last targa photo, it definitely looks like they are hiding a red strip on the back.

    Front bumper cover comes from the part bins of Boxsters?? Looks like I'll keep my 997S for a while.

    Well, if done more clever it actually works. I remember a funny story with a friend who had a camouflaged Cayenne test mule. It used an Audi steering wheel with the rings taped over. Just before he could apply the car cover some bystanders asked him: what car is this? He shrugged and said that he is not allowed to tell. Then they saw the steering wheel they said: Ah, Audi and walked away grinning. As soon as they were out of sight we were rolling on the floor laughing
