    Post pics of 997/997S with 997GT3 front bumper !!

    Like title says !!

    I think this post can really help 997 owners, and make up their minds with the look of their car....Also the reason of posting this, its because I'm seriously thinking in installing it, the looks are amazing, it completely changes the look, so much fresh and sporty !!...

    What can be the price in your dealer??..It makes the car lower from the front???, it will hit entering/exiting parkings???, those are my main questions....But I'm quite focused in installing the gt3 front bumper for our next 997 (FL or not )

    I would appreciate only gt3 front bumpers with no aero-kits, but well any pic with the front gt3 bumper will be welcome, specially those in macadamia exterior colour (which its nearly impossible to see a pic with that colour, meteor grey, black , white etc..

    IMO, I dont like the front lip painted, but either way it looks so so good!!

    It's down to personal taste. I like the bumper but dislike the wing.

    If you like it, do it.

    I also think it looks great without the wing. I personally dislike the airokit wing.

    How does the rear look, with the GT3 bumper, but not the wing... would be interesting, but I don't think that's seen very often, because it means re-routing the exhaust tips?

    yup, that 997 personally looks PERFECT, I'm not a big fun of aftermarket parts for any 911, but those wheels really look GREAT....Owner is registered as "Gomez" in 6speedonline, the car is also equipped with AWE cats and Bilstein Damptronics....hope he doesnt mind posting this lil info

    Joost actually i think we've seen a 997 like that, somebody long ago posted some yellow 997S pics with the gt3 front bumper AND gt3 rear bumper, he did the conversion from the stock exhaust to a FVD, which has center exhaust pipes...This guy had instead of the carrera S logo in the rear, a logo of the pirates of the carribean or something like that, I'm sure somebody has pics of that.....

    Anyway, I think it will look too much!!!...


    Also those fans of the aerokit, the front bumper is not equipped with that black plastic next to the hood, imo that is probably the best part of the bumper, which it lacks in the aerokit....

    the above pic just looks perfect !!!, its better without painting the front lip, and just leaving it stock (black colour)...

    Do you think installing the gt3 official porsche bumper, is modding the car ???....I'm not a fan of modding cars, and even less in a 911, but 997 stock bumper looks so "standard" (no offense, I love it), but it needs a fresh look !!!, oh well that's why the FL is coming !!!

    btw forget aobut those aftermarket wheels and turbo rear wing....Its not that easy searching for 997 with only gt3 front bumper

    Ive got the aerokit cup on my 997S and I was really very interested in the GT3 front bumper.. until I was told it would cost more than 10k USD...

    Apparently the bolts/connections of the aerokit's front bumper are completely different to that of the GT3's, so a whole lot of stuff would have to be changed.

    $10k ??, wow

    Its very strange, some 6speedonline users, claim $1.500 for the gt3 front bumper only...

    Anyone has more info about the price, if its more than 2.000 Euro I'm out !!!
