I don't think the seats are height adjustable.

I'd like to anticipate any regrets I'd have if I changed my C4S Cab for a GT3. I am sure the benefits will outweigh the drawbacks but I would like to know them before I make the move.
I am already aware of:
1. No rear seats
2. Firmer suspension (what are longer journeys over 200 miles like)
3. No PSM
4. It's not a cab (I figured this one out on my own )
5. Sport shifter (which I like)

The only reason why I decided not to go for the GT3 was ground clearance, I wouldn't be able to park the car in my own garage...
Also, I realise that I'm not a good enough driver to really use the extra power and handling the GT3 offers. Maybe I'm even faster in my current C2S with X51.
Nevertheless I keep on dreaming about owning a GT3...

@P-P: I've followed your posts with interest on how you moved from P to F and now back to P again. You're clearly searching for something that's been eluding you so far.
Turning to your question, I think you can list the differences and intellectually rationalise this choice (if you want to) but at the end of the day, it boils down to 2 issues:
i) which car (GT3 or C2S/C4S) more closely meets your daily needs i.e. what you individually plan to use it for (a slightly different question from what the specification differences might be)
but more importantly IMO,
ii) which car makes you feel better (see my point about searching for something above).
IMO, there's no doubt that a GT3 will excite you more but it's a trade off between the excitement and the slightly lesser practicality of it.
By contrast, the C2S/C4S will excite you a little less but it involves less compromise.
So how far you compromise really depends on you rather than on the cars themselves.
Just my 2 cents...
Hope you find what you're looking for

An interesting discussion and, for me, very topical. It's only 1 month until my very first Porsche, a brand new white C2s with PSE, SS -20mm, Aerokit and sports shifter, is due to be delivered. At the very last moment I get a call from a friend who knows of someone selling his 07 GT3, also white, with just 12,000km on the clock, and at a price I can afford. Dilemma? You bet. Although I can't envisage spending more than a few days a year on track and rain isn't a problem in Dubai, it sounds like a no-brainer.... go for the GT3. But somewhere in the back of my head is a voice saying 'go for the C2s' on the grounds of a new car is better than a second hand one and, as a newbie to Porsche and fast cars for that matter, is a GT3 a realistic option for me? Any thoughts or advice out there?

I own a 2005 Carrera S, a 2005 Boxster S, and a 2007 GT3. The Carrera S is a great car, very civilised, easy to drive, great performance. The GT3 however, is a PURE sports car. This is the way all 911s should be! If I had to choose one I would take the GT3, and I would certainly take a Boxster S over a Carrera cab.
