    Ok....I'm a fair man...we lost - off topic Euro Championship

    Ok...i'm a fair man, we lost

    Altough we didn't deserve to lost.

    But in football what counts are goals in the net and not if one team derserves or not to win or loose...so congractulations to the Greece national Team, their Contry and their Citizens... :

    Yesterday we were invited to a german/brazilian couple and a lot of people from Portugal were there too.
    Everybody was so excited to watch the game tonight and I have to admit I am happy we didn't meet with them today for the game. I can imagine how disappointed they must have been.

    I liked the pictures I saw after the game very much: Fido congratulated Greece's german trainer and afterwards, Portugal's brazilian trainer and Greece's german trainer were shaking hands, having a hug and even kissing each other (well, not what you guys think... ).

    I was pretty sure Portugal wins but this is what makes football (soccer) exciting: even outsiders can win and this makes it even more interesting.
    The world championship is 2006 in Germany and I'm pretty sure Portugal gets the chance for a revival and "revenge".

    Don't worry, be happy: Portugal is Vice-European Champion.

    Congrats to both teams, I really enjoyed this game.

    Sorry for you guys. At least, it was a fair game and for both teams it was quite a success to compete in the finals.

    By the way, you guys did a very good job in organizing the championship.
    Let's see how the Germans will do in two years!

    And life will go on!

    I feel very sad for Portugal, when I was there on Saturday I saw portuguese flags in the car's antennas, in all the house's balconies, etc, it was crazy. It brought the country together. I was hoping they'd win.

    Sorry guys, I have to disagree. I thought the game was booooooooorrrrrrring.......... Typical "final" game. Oh well, England fans can't have it all. Maybe I am just bitter and twisted, we were cheated!!!

    I call this frustration...1st it's Alex Fergunson that everytimes that comes to Porto gets his litle but kicked all over the Dragon Stadium....He's still a litle p*** off that since his Aberdeen days he cant beat Porto and now are the British that cant admit that Portugal team we're better than them.

    Isn't Fair Play a word invented by the British???Oh yeah, i forgot, shame on British NewsPapes by posting photos of the referee, his family, house, etc....

    You guys should stick with photos of Katie Price, Michelle Marsh, Lucy Pinder and Jodie Marsh on the newspapers and stop posting ugly and unfair stuff like that 1.

    By the way, tell Beckham if he stops doing ski and go to late parties in Madrid that he has more chances of doing a great euro or world cup....

    Now Now boys, lets keep it nice and friendly. My English sense of irony was obviously lost in the translation!
    Lets concentrate on things we agree on. The new 997 is the nuts!! Cannot wait to see them in the flesh here in the U.K. Not long to wait now. Just a quick question. At Pounds65,000, do you think the "S" is that much better than the regular C2. Do you not think the C2 with some options will also be a great car? Havnt seen any road tests yet of the C2, just the S model. Thoughts please.

    That's fine by me

    Well, the only big diference between both is that the carrera s has 355 bhp and there's no power kit for the carrera..

    But yes you can have the s 19" wheels, the sport chrono package, pasm and the other stuff...

    I'm still thinking if i wait or not the 2nd production year or not to buy these car.

    But if i was to buy one right now i would certainaly go for the s model.

    with all it's extra kit the carrera S is quite a bargain compared to the non-S IMO.

    it's not only +30 HP and +30 Nm of torque... you'll get 19" rims, turbo brakes and the active suspension (PASM) as well!!! not to mention the quad exhaust and the white dials (if you like them)... at least something 996 customers paid a lot of dough for...

    At Niello Porsche in Sacramento, 5 of 6 997S have already been sold and none of the 997 (2) have been sold yet. At least in California, we can spot a good bargain.

    I think "spotting a bargain" is a bit easier in sunny California. The cost in the U.K. at Pounds65,000.00 is a lot more than the adjusted figure inc. Luxury goods tax that is paid in the U.S. That was the real reason for my question, bog standard S or options on a C2? But thanks for your constructive comments!!!

    Maybe some people think even the base Carrera is a bit much for them (performance and costs), so the S is out of the question
