As i know there is no change in MY2008 ones.
It seems you have loaded full options on car. Just a friendly suggestion , if you plan to drive car more than 2 years, 6speed would be better and more solid. But also new shortened e-gear(2006+) is much better than older ones.

Haven't had any problem with mine yet. Love every thing about it. Just don't be caught at a light and try to adjust the air suspension while it turns green... I don't think people behind me mind except for the guy at the end of the line. I have had a blast with my Gallardo. couple of my good friends and clients after riding in my ride, they bought one right a couple of weeks later. My good long time friend loved it so much he is planning to just trade in his 07 for the new 08 when it becomes available. PM me if you want to discuss more of car itself.

I was told by the dealer that there probably will be a facelift / power upgrade in the middle of 2008, that's why I put my order on hold and ordered a V8 Vantage to have some fun next year...
They have to bring up the Gallardo power to at least 550HP as the Audi R8 will get the V10 Gallardo engine with probably 500HP...

This topic has been discussed before with many people not believing that an upgraded model is coming in 08. I've had an order in for one since my dealer told me about it back in June. The only info he had was a power increase in the region of 15% with a summer 08 availability so a Geneva launch sounds right on the money to me

As much as I want to see it happen, it will not be happening. Ferrari can't just launch a car immediately just because they want to, not when the car is not ready yet. They're still experimenting with the new engine, testing the new chassis etc and the new car simply can not be rushed a year ahead its schedule just because a new competitor is out. They did not and could not launch the F430 in 2003 just because the Gallardo was out and scaring 360s everywhere.
And aside from the technical contraints, Ferrari fully intends to sell as many F430s as possible in its 5-year lifespan. They did not cut the 360's 5-year lifespan for the F430 and they will not be doing that to the F430 either.
The F142 will not appear before 2009.

LP640 upgrade out in 2006, why do you think Gallardo will never be facelifted? 2008 is high time anyway, Gallardo's facelift should have happened in 2007 (past 4 years of its 7/8 year lifespan) but it did not happen because of the R8.
Facelifted Gallardo must be out before V10 version of the R8, no other way around it right?

At least Ferrari will not have the time to hesitate with their new model, as competition progesses.

thats more like it
it doesnt make sense though. with 10-15 % more power a Gallardo SL would be knocking on the doorstep of heavy hitter like the CGT and leaving the LP640.
it would make more sense that a Murcielago upgrade (perhaps SV LP640?) to come BEFORE the G.
