    Galleria Ferrari - Pic's

    Here are some pic's I took at the Galleria across from the factory in Maranello. From my hotel balcony, I could see the factory and some of the Fiorano track. Enjoy...

    Thanks for posting those pictures too. I went last year and it looks like they've already changed things around a bit. Did you or are you planning to go on the factory tour? Be sure to eat at Ristorante Cavalino across the street from your hotel if you can. I also loved Ristorante Montana right by the Fiorano circuit. Their desserts were out of the world!

    The Cavlino was closed when we were there. My girlfriend and I had started in the South and made our way to Maranello after about 3 weeks and, I never thought I'd say this, by that time we were craving something other than Italian food! We actually drove in Modena to a so-so Indian restaurant enjoyed it thoroughly.


    We did not do the factory tour.

    I did stay at the Planet hotel. It is more than adequate. My suite had two levels, with the bed upstairs. It was a corner unit and the balcony wrapped around both sides. Here is a pic of the hotel:

    Yes and no. My room was on the top floor of the standard suites. You can see it in the pic, my balcony was directly under the word 'Hotel'. There are a couple of suites higher than that which you can apparently rent as well which can be used for entertaining and offer a great view of Fiorano. I don't think they were being used when I was there.
