    I think it's because of the English school boy "WWII" syndrome.
    He accepts that Italian sports cars are more beautiful and generally better than the British ones, but German ones can't possibly be!
    As during his formative year's Porsche was the only real "German" opposition to his "British" sports cars, he hates them.

    Because he's not a good driver and will crash if it's not a mercedes or the car doesn't have 4wd. The video speaks for itself. That poor GT3 didn't deserved to be hurt

    I think he's getting paid to trash on Porsche... ok maybe not but I didn't hear good things about him from Mike from Newport Beach Porsche.

    i actually like him, even though he didnt have a lot positive to say about my car some time ago.
    he's in show business (and we all know that objectiveness dosnt count here as much as viewer count does) and he's entertainig alright!
    apart from that: who sais everyon should like porsche, just becaus we do?

    The last video was so biased it was laughable. The GT3 is a track car which one can use on the public road. The R8 is a road car so when JC talks about the attractiveness of the R8 by the harbour he is comparing apples with oranges.

    He thinks the R8 has the 911 licked. Well, sorry JC, the R8 has hardly any boot space. What does he plan to wear at the harbour if he drives there in a R8 for a week's holiday? The 911 can carry enough stuff for a 3 week holiday. The R8 is easy to park and see out of? So is a 911!

    JC is a funny guy but giving advice on cars is another matter. But first, he really needs to learn how to drive so that he doesn't embarrass himself by driving into crash barriers...

    I just can't take the opinion of such a biased person seriously

    Agreed, but we also need to remember he's an entertainer and his audience is the UK. We just so happen to get a copy of the original broadcast.

    Did you guys watch the Africa video? In the end, he actaully recommends a German car, the original Beetle, which he loathes.

    He doesn't like the Germans but he hates the American's, Gays, Environmentalists and anyone who is even a wee bit politically correct!

    He loves England but is always pointing out its numerous faults. I think he complains about ken livingstone, UK traffic, traffic laws and UK car manufacturing - the lack thereof more than about Americans, Gays and Porsche though!

    I see him as an entertainer / TV personality so his porsche-bashing etc really doesn't bother me. I'll still watch Top Gear but I really don't have time for his ill-informed rants about things outside his repertoire.....

    I think you guys don't have "enough" sense of humor that is why you don't understand what he actually means, with is jokes ..anyway you should buy/ or download this dvd to see the full beauty from this images ,the videos in you tube are very compressed... you can look for this dvd on mininova.org and download with bit torrent...
