Sportier drive mode (race?), ESP very likely still active (a bit) and too much acceleration...oh boy. Watched the video again fullscreen. Probably didn't have this car too long...or just can't drive.

My theory is too much throttle (turbo, excessive torque) and a sport driving mode active.
Cold tires usually don't do that, unless the car was on semi-slicks and/or the temp was under 5°C but even then, there is enough traction for that kind of speed and going straight.
Maybe we should ask the driver...

must be everything OFF. race would not do this on a dry road.
Oh, it would. CR has a 488 Spider and he really had to adapt to the increased torque (from his previous 458 Spider and the Carrera GT he still owns).

I know that piece of road very well, and drive along it frequently.. It's uneven and has many damp patches that take a long time to dry up especially this time of year. It can be quite treacherous and easy to end up in a trouser changing event like that. I wouldn't push my humble Boxster too hard down there, let alone a car with that amount of power and torque.

BiTurbo:
Seems like the wastegate valve acting sound, every time throttle is depressed.

Aston Martin Poached “Three Of Ferrari's Key Guys” For Its 488-rivaling Supercar
Na Mezger:Noticed that too, strange
Btw he did confirm that Ferrari has done a great job of eliminating turbo lag in this car !!
I'd say the 488 GTB is the sportscar car with the least turbo lag on the market right now (and probably the most decent turbo sound as well).

I think AMG did an amazing job.

Second best after the 488 GTB but the AMG GT S certainly has more turbo lag.
