    Picked my new Turbo

    Picked up my new Turbo at the end of last week after nearly 5 months wait (I got it 1 month earlier than expected). The exterior is Meteor grey metallic and the interior black leather with full Guards red stitching, seatbelts and floormats. Other options are short shifter, sports chrono and LSD. The car is truly amazing, very different to my previous Carrera S. It feels much more balanced and "civilized" than the Carrera S which I guess is due to the four-wheel drivetrain.

    Obviously, the power is just mental...

    Congrats on your car! Same interior and exterior colors as my car coming in October, although I don't have the deviating stitching. It looks fantastic! Enjoy in good health.

    Thanks! Indeed, it is the very same bridge You know the area? I live just a bit further up the hill...

    Great car, congrats.

    Yours is the first I've seen that actually has the deviating stitching on the gear-shifter boot.

    My grand parents ( on both sides) used to live up there... Now one of my cousin lives up the hill..

    Niiice.

    I'm happy to see Porsche finally figured out how to put red stitching into the shift boot and Hbrake to match the red stitching option for the rest of the car.

    Congratulations from Munich. Meteor works very dezent and the red deviated stitching gives the interior a perfect outline. I,ve ordered mine also in meteor-grey, for delivery October. However I am not sure whether I not should take slategrey . I wish you all the best with the new 997 TT at any time.
