    TPMS $400

    Two weeks ago I installed a Schrader AirAware (20256) TPMS Pressure and Temp montior and alarm for about $400. Small wireless battery powered reciever fits easily in the center console. Alarm is easily heard with the cover closed. Pressure readings are within about 1 psi of actual.

    Just checked their web site. Sounds like a product that I would like to have. Where did you purchase and who installed it?

    Steve, I bought it and had it installed at Heyer Performance in Mountain View CA.

    What tire and rim combination are you using? I have a set of 19" Cargraphic forged racing wheels and have been told that the low profile of the tire/rim combo would prevent the valve sensors from seating properly. This would possible expose the sensors to being hit on a hard tire impact. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

    I have the regular 19 inch Carrera S with Bridgestone RE960AS. So far so good, but I have had no hard tire impacts.

    I saw this too. Looks interesting. Also have to factor in $200 for dismounting and balance.
