    For a 997 Carrera or Cab, out of the colours you have narrowed the choice down to, I voted Meteor Grey. Otherwise, normally, with an open choice, I would say GT Silver. For a Targa, I would only go for a dark colour (hides the odd roofstyling of the Targa where the glass meets the A pillar).

    BUT, if it were a GT3, then I would vote Carrara White and, if it were a TT, then Basalt Black.

    All depends on the model you are choosing! Enjoy the process man!

    FWIW:
    I'd have to go with silver because the Carrera is a sculptural work of art. You'll notice that the color used in the car design studios is always silver. That's because it's neutral and shows off the contours, shapes, lines, volumes, shadows-- the aesthetics-- of the "sculpture" best.

    On other cars (like all current BMWs) I'd go with a dark color to hide the mistakes. On the Porsche Turbo: I'd go with greys or black in order to hide all excessive the venty, slatty, wingy attachments.

    me too, i love the meteor grey alot. used to be a big fan of the basalt black though :/

    I guess I'm biased, since I have the meteor gray. But even though its not on the list, the atlas gray is really growing on me.

    These are the 997 colors I see most often on rennteam so I decided to limit their numbers and didn't list the whole spectrum.

    btw, i just can't get enough of the meteor grey.. so pretty and easy to kept clean..

    my second choice would be basalt/red/white. they're a tie. ^^

    Met up with some friends yesterday. One of them rode in my car and kept complimenting me on the colour combination: GT Silver with Cocoa. It is so warm and rich like the finest Belgian chocolate!
