    3 weeks - still at the dock

    just thought I'd vent a bit. thats all. I want my TT!!!!

    let it out buddy, let it out. It'll be here soon enough. I only hope that I could deal with the anticipation when my turn to take delivery comes up.

    If it is three weeks at the port, thats not good at all. I would check for signs of damage when you first see it.

    There seem to be several guys whose cars have been "completed" and sitting at the dock for 2-3 weeks.

    They called me today, a boat is leaving for Baltimore today or Sat. Let's hope, starting to lose intrest.

    Maybe my guy was right yesterday when he said he thought i'd be on a boat in a couple of days. If not, I don't want to think when I'll get it.

    Yes,I know that with BMW if it is held up at the VPC then you can be sure there is some damage issues they are correcting.

    not always true. My M3 was held up at the VPC for about 1.5 weeks, along with a ton of other cars due to a software issue. other forum members confirmed that this was the peoblem.

    1st time for me. Mine finally got on a boat and is on the Lyra Leader which is stopping in Brunswick, GA and then heading to San Diego. ETA in SD is 5-27.

    Congrats. Mine "headed to the docks" nearly 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything but hope it made the boat! My 3rd 911, 1st Turbo.

    Just put the name of the ship into the bottom box and it tracks it across the Atlantic every 12 - 18 hours. I tried Lyra Leader, but nothing comes up for that boat. Manon is currently at sea, if you want to see how it works.

    Edit: It's Jamie from 6speed, btw. I don't usually post here. Jammie would be something you spread on your toast!

    Chris - what ship are you on????

    Lyra Leader was ONVESL for all cars 5/4, and is due into Brunswick 5/14, and into San Diego 5/27. Schedule was updated Tuesday. Not sure about anything into Baltimore yet.

    Eric, mine never made it on the LL, I was on a ship to Baltimore that left 5/9, supposed to dock 5/20? Any info would be appreciated, don't know the name for sure yet.
