Wow - good job! If you ever find yourself in central Tokyo and you find yourself a little bored and fancy washing a motor you can do mine, which is virtually identical to yours except sandbeige interior!
That is a big deal for me to offer you - only me and one other guy has ever washed my car for the 22 months. I like to consider myself generous!
Do you Zymol? or any other products you can recommend?

To be fair the brake dust shown on the "before" pics was developed over about 250 miles or so as I had washed the wheels just over a week ago, therefore they were not going to be that bad. To clean them a diluted mixture of water and Virosol (10:1) should do the trick. Just spray it on, and power wash it off after 5 minutes or so making sure not to let the Virosol dry before you jet wash them. I then use warm soapy car bath to wash them down afterwards and chamois dry. I think the trick is to make sure that no matter how inconvenient it is, make sure you at least give the wheel a wash once a week. Then it only take 20 minutes to do them.

I know how precious owners get over their P Cars so I consider it an honour.
Zymol is good apparently but I have never tried it to be honest. I understand it is very hard to apply and remove.
However, I use Swissol (now called Swissvax) and the wax is called "best of show". In fact I use all their car cleaning products which are very good. A bit expensive perhaps, but this is the UK, everything is expensive.

i just wish i have the opportunity to wash mines right now.. but i don't own a 911 atm
been thinking more for the boxster with the limited cash i have now though..
anyways, the basalt black is very pretty on the 997!!

Well you know me Throt, it ain't a garage queen. In fact I've had the car a year this Wednesday and she's done 16k spirited miles.
and I like a bit of rude too, it's just today, she's spruced herself up cos she's off on a night on the tiles.
