    Switch your PSE to "Always On."

    According to "Panorama" PSE can be fixed so it is always on (w/o PASM). Page 78. Disconnect and plug vacuum hose to exhaust system. If not DIY dealer does this very easily.

    OOPS! I should have known. Don't have PSE but thought it would be of current interest since it's in latest (April 2007 Page 78) "Panorama."

    i have an 06 carrera with pse. it drove me nutz with the on off on off.....just asked the dealership to fix it. 75 u.s. dollars and done. it sounds amazing especially at high rpm. the way it should sound. highly recommend.

    You can do the same thing in 30 seconds and for $0 by either disconnecting the electrical connector or the vacuum hose. I prefer the electrical option.

    Maybe they charged him US$75 to fit a separate switch to control PSE independently?

    I would liek to have the switch, so if I do end up taking the wife out to dinner in the car and/or we go for a long drive, I can switch it off and have a little peace and quiet...

    Insert switch into 12volt powerline to PSE under carpet in rear deck!

    There's no personal attack...no hate. I just think that from over 4300 posts, you sometimes appear to be an instigator. In fact, some of the longest threads have been started by you and are interesting and fun to participate in. This one just seemed to be too transparent. Try again.
