    Pics request: Sun visors Leather

    Any pics?

    I'm thinking to upgrade it to leather, but maybe that's too much?

    Hopefully in Black leather, how was the overall feeling compared with the standard one?

    The standard visors are made of plactic, just like the 996?

    No - it's not 'too much' at all. I have the XMP sunvisors in leather option...IMHO they are not only lovely but essential in such an expensive car....no offence, but IMHO the standard leatherette/vinyl ones are horrible and don't suit a Pounds60K+ car...

    FWIW You can even get them in Porsche Exclusive so that each side of the sunvisor is in a different colour leather...

    Yea, I think the light dome looks fine, but the plastic fake leather visors must be replaced!

    Seriously, are there any pdf file to show us ALL the exclusive options?

    For short people like me they're useless anyway, just keep them up and you don't need to look at them!!

    Here's non-leather, non-alcantera overhead.

    IMO, forget the visors' leather upgrade unless you have a Cab. Nobody ever sees the cheap POS anyway.

    My pleasure (the pics that is).

    As for the CPOS ("cheap" POS), nobody ever sees them, if they do see them they do not examine them. When I see them I don't get anxious or mad, I chuckle. I've still not figured out how they decided to put them in our cars! I mean what were they thinking? Did they run out of money in a too-strict budget?

    I like them in my cabriolet. Not as important in a coupe unless you just prefer the higher quality.

    Eh..., I dunno..., too much stitching reminds me of rough-and-ready Western-style fashion.

    As nice as the leather is in our interiors I opted out (got vinyl dash) because of all the stitching outlining everything; especially the dash line.

    where did you found that pos?

    you cant compared them, they re different things.

    plus thats why i dislike colored stitching..
