Has what you want. Make sure that you order DAD - aluminum shifter and then get 09991 - inclusive exclusive stitching so that your shift boot will have the red stitching as well. Also get CDZ - gear shift trim in leather which is the little piece between the shift boot and the console. Should look really good.

Thanks soo much for the URL ..... I really lack looking at good photos for the TT, specially that this forum gallery never works on my browser. Please if you know any other web sites or forums that have more TT photos (PLEASE POST).

Red dials? legible? Who cares? (I'm kinda joking here).
All you need to see is the speedometer; no problem there with the digital display.
As for the red-faced tach? Just let the rev limiter do it's job!
The other thing you can do? Paint the needle yourself (or get a model-maker to do it). Instruments come out rather easily.

I was gonna get total CF in my 997S. Then I was sober and took another look at the us$10K+ pricetag and resented Porsche for robbing me _yet_again_. Shouldda had a few drinks right before ordering the car; wouldda had CF throughout and some pics for you. (just kidding about all the drinking... 
)

I think carbon fiber looks hideous but it's worth putting up with the appearance for the weight savings. The notion of fake plastic carbon fiber that yields no weight savings sounds like the worst of both worlds to me.
It's like those electronic doohickeys that make a fake turbo blowoff noise in normally-aspirated cars.

The CF options havee zero weight savings. It's just for looks. I personally like it because it is the latest hottest amazing technology. I see nothing wrong with wanting to surround oneself with such stuff; especially if is looks nice (not tacky) good color, good texture... appropriate for the car... Stronger than steel yet lighter! Frickin' COOL!
