Yes, you did.

BUT, my point is that I did expect little bit more serious approach by Audi, NOT BS like things:
-most R8 options(Cermics, Piano Black interior trim, etc) delayed
-R8 deliveries delayed for few weeks
-limited(!!!) number of R8s in first production run will get CF engine bay

It looks to me that new M3 buyers will get their cars(with all options) before R8 costumer that ordered Ceramic Brakes on his R8...

Can't say I've heard of/driven any BMW w/competent brakes, motors and/or SMG, even 2-3 yrs into produc.....

And given BMW's lackluster safety engineering/innovations/brakes, I'd rather take my chances in a "risky" 599 than any BMW.....

kreso, the number of ferrari that went up in smoke is a little higher. Ferrari should have get the problem fixed by 50 years, so why haven't they?

In addition, audi owns lambo and made the gallardo. So they also have some experience and know what they're doing.

Anyway, with 500bhp or more, these cars are becoming like real race cars. Fragile and very flammable. Don't why though.

Though CGT's (and GT2's/GT3's) lack of PSM makes it a high-risk street car, don't know of instances of post-collision/spontaneous fires w/CGT...or 997TT....

And haven't heard of fires post-collision w/600hp+ 65s....

If I recall correctly, Ben's CGT caught fire but the marshalls extinguished it. And the CGT driver who was racing the CC8/CCR in the Middle East burned to death.
