Re: Can the GT3 RSRs beat the F430's this weekend?
What lost the race in St Pete for the fastest RSR was a refueling problem that set them back 3 laps. I was at St Pete and Sebring and the fastest RSR actually lead the race early on in St Pete. Both the fastest 430 and the fastest RSR are about as equal as you can get. This is what GT2 needs, great close racing just like P2. The rules have leveled the playing field in GT2, the RSR are running smaller engines than the F430 or the Panoz. I'm a big Porsche fan but want to see races like we saw at Sebring and St Pete continue. Maybe Porsche will win the next race, I certainly hope so, but now the F430, Panoz and in P2 the Acura have an equal chance.
