Well there is a definitive board for Boxster discussions (ppbb.com), but it has mostly US members. There are a few others boards for European owners as well.
This Porsche Board used to say "Boxster" in it, then they got rid of it and now it just says "other models".
However, this is still a great place, and I enjoy the "class" of postings here, and the excellent new information.

As soon as the 987 shows up(or shortly before that), we might open a new Boxster board.
PPBB is a tough competition for us and I don't think we can ever keep up with them. This is why we actually never opened a Boxster forum.
But if the demand is high, we'll do it, of course.

No I'm not refering to the bodykits and modifications. I like modificated cars, Cause this is the way to make cars uniq, of course with taste. But about taste you can argue days.
I mean the way of expression some of the useres use. I watched already many discussion which where under any waistline, and it doesn't matter if your height is 2m or 1,6m.
Rennteam Is so speacial because of his Users. Most of them are very civilized and experienced Sportscar lovers. I hope it doesn't sound arrogant to you.

I think it's sad(Avoe) that you have to read implicit arguments that the Boxster/Driver would be less sophisticated then others here. What i'm trying to say is, regarding the serious PORSCHE forum we have here, i'm sure that a "Boxster board" woul be as serious as the other boards.

Ok before you misunderstand me again. And we argue days.
I wan't to put one point ahead. I don't have anything against Boxster, GTI, etc drivers.
But I have something against "rednacks". I german you say prolet. Those guys which first care about there cars, and then they pay the bills. I love cars and everything what has to do with cars. But it's not on first place. First place is my family.
Enyway we already get to far with our discusion.
Let's remain like this, everybody (with any car, or bicycle, or even "per pedes") is for my opinion welcome on this wonderfull board, as long as he shows an adequete behavior.

I've visted PPBB.com a while ago, but have'nt returned there as I don't particularly like the forum structure and also beacuse the info is mainly US based. Apart from rennteam, I only visit one other boxster forum and that particular forum is considerably lightweight regarding news and stuff compared to rennteam.
That's why I would love it if there was Boxster section here (looking forward to it in september RC).

There is always this "language barrier" which creates some misunderstandings but this shouldn't keep us from trying to communicate.
We're thinking about opening a Boxster board and very seriously. But first we want to wait until the 987 shows up because a Boxster board without posts wouldn't be nice. The 987 appearance will lead to many many posts.
