I was going to say the same thing. Back in 1989 I had a particularly bad motorcycle accident and I know from personal experience, they come just to have a look, thats it. Mind you if someone told me an LP640 had just hit a post I would have probably gone to take a look also.

I think this was the LP640 tested by 5th gear and has also been in a couple of mags... Cant imagine that too many people wanted an LP640 in this color so I'm guessing this was the press car... God only knows which [beep] had it this time though!!!
What an absolute tit!!! He was very lucky he didnt wipe anyone out at the junction!!! Could have been a very serious crash...
Also a waste of a fine motor car!

It was a straight road that ended in a T junction, which of course he plows straight accross!!!! If you watch the video again, you can see a whit car has to slam on as the lambo flys accross the road in front of him

No it wasn't, it was a rental car (owned by the owner of the company)

That guy should be put IN JAIL for driving that fast on a city street. What if some kid ran out in the road or an old lady? What then? He would be up for manslaugter and 20 years.
That is just plain stupid...take it the track. Going fast on the street is such a bore anyway, I would rather pull 34.999mph in a 35 mph corner than do 180mph on public road.

Agreed! I like to drive relatively fast on city streets (usually drive at 60 mph), but only when we're talking the empty, wide avenues or in empty industrial zones - and that's too fast by most people's standards. Under no condition should this guy be allowed to keep his driver's license.
