Dork + 806 hp = gravel

What happens when you put a rich dork (who apparently can't drive) in a 800 hp Koooooeeeeeeennnigegg CCX?

According to the reporter, he declined drivertraining from the Kooeee... factory. Bad decision

I hope I don't meet him on the road some day.

Oh by the way, this car costs 950 000 euros in Norway.

That car has the "Stig" spoiler on it also. He wasn't patient with the throttle at all! He almost lost it several times prior to the kitty litter episode. Every time he touched the throttle it would just spin the tires. He needed to slow down quite a bit.

Rich fool trying to show off for the crowd!!!! No need to nail a car like that every time you get out the corner... Gentle throttle in that evil thing will still have you flying round the tack at silly speeds!!!

Great car.... wasted!

Be nice and respect people please. Yes, he is not very good at driving a super car, and yes it is a shame. But it is his car and he paid for it. All 1 million Euros that is.
I can't stand people like you who throw around stupid comments like that. The guy is about 30 years old and self-made selling tires, unlike alot of rich kids who are born way too spoiled.
He donated 100,000 USD to charity for Africa, but is still bashed because people are jealous.

The car appeared to be very unstable under accelration, pulling to one side. Not making excuses for him, just an observation.

I had the same impression about the car. It looks (I have to seen it again), as if in spite of right orientation of the front wheels, the car comes unestable. Of course the driver should be a bit more progressive, but I feel that something is wrong there, and not only the driver.

Oh, he's a brilliant businessman alright (even I have bought tires from him) and charitable as well, I'll give him that. He just can't drive

But I guess that's what you get when you buy a Koooeeenenefgkfrjkgegg, which is known for being "a handful".
I'd rather have a Pagani Zonda any day of the week for that kind of money.

My norwegian is a bit rusty, but in the following video he challenges rally driver Henning Solberg to a race on public roads and puts up a prize of 100,000 USD to the winner. He also states that (roughly translated) "I can't drive on the track, but on the road I'm the best."

True.

But this is ofcourse just a PR stunt. By doing this he receives massive editiorial style publicity (which is worth a heck of a lot more than general ads) ,allways being called "the tireking Tommy Sharif". A cell phone operator owner called Idar Vollvik pulled the exact same trick with the old CCR and made a bunch of new customers, and the trick still works. The guy has a lot of fun, pays a lot of tax (most of the cars price is tax) and will probobly make money of this as well. So

to him, and I'll also cheer for anything giving Henning Solberg a better ability to comepete in rally.

It's simple, but it works.

Edit: Henning Solberg first declined his invitation as he thought it would be on open public roads, and only agreed when it became clear they would only race if they could close it down.

I dont really blame him.. A car with such power is very hard to control for non-profesional driver.. Even the Stig from Top Gear couldnt handle the ccx.. IMO
