    Not sure if you knew this, but I'm a 20 year old college student and I won't be able to afford a Porsche for a while. I will have an opportunity to ride in one at the end of july and drive one at the end of march, 6 speed of course. I'll be sure to post plenty of pictures and my impressions then.

    Trip, You were the first to insult so stop playing the victim. Your tone was negative from the get go not only to me, but to RC and to Mike.

    And as yet we still do not have a detailed review of the TT Tiptronic, only vague and general commentary.

    And there is nothing wrong with asking for specifics from a "Journalist" no matter how much you infer that it is some sort of crime to. And your assumptive statements that I prefer a auto over a manual are just ridiculous. I just want details not vague generalities.

    So please, open your mind and stop playing the Chauncey Gardner of manual transmisions.

    Sorry if I insulted you but I am definitely not trying to play the victim, I don't need anyone's sympathy, I was just giving my reasons for the tone in my posts. I don't think I was the first to insult you but that doesn't really matter.

    W8MM I am not denying that I was short with Jim Flat6, nor do I feel it was innapropriate, I have read countless heated arguments on this website and don't really see the problem with them. I am not going to bite my tounge and put on a happy face if something makes me angry, and I don't expect others to do so either. People are passionate about cars, people have differing opinions, when the two mix you will see excited arguments. Having said that I do appreciate appropriate use of restraint and believe me I held back some of the things I first thought of saying because I realized they would not have been productive. I do want to apologize for my outbursts at RC because unlike Jim, his language was never insulting or abrasive.

    Last words before I close down this thread (it really got too long): the Boxster S (even the one with Tiptronic) has been tested faster in tight slalom runs than the Enzo, so maybe this is what Rossi was referring to.

    We should continue this discussion based on the results published in the new Auto, Motor und Sport.
